LUNG FOUNDATION AUSTRALIA
Refreshing medical and support information to make it simple, clear and engaging
Lung Foundation Australia needed support for a major redesign and refresh of its website, and they turned to me for help.
As Australia's leading charity and advocate for lung health in Australia, they wanted to reach a much wider audience and make the content easier to understand.

While their website already had extensive pages of information about lung diseases, support and other aspects, it was sometimes hard to read. There was lots of medical terminology, complex ideas and sentence structures that were sometimes confusing.
My role involved redeveloping the content and making it accessible for more people, and at a much younger reading age (Year 7 level). This was important to achieve as the pages needed to serve as an important resource for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The project involved adapting quickly to learn about lung disease and lung cancer, and the work of the organisation in a short space of time. The site redesign was successfully launched in July 2025 and the client was very happy with what we achieved.
